Study Hall-oween: Comedy Inspired By Spooky Lectures

Saturday, Oct 26, 2024 @ 8:30 PM EDT • $15.00

Get into the Halloween spirit with this special, Halloween edition of Study Hall! This night will feature lectures focused on the creepy, the crawly, and all things that go bump in the night. This long-running comedy show mixes real lectures with improv comedy to create a show that is both entertaining and educational. Lectures inspire the scenes that the amazing cast create right before your eyes.

Now celebrating its 10th year of lessons and laughs, Study Hall: Comedy Inspired By Lectures invites guests from a wide variety of professions to speak on a topic from their field. After each lecture a cast of Philly’s best and funniest performers will use what they’ve learned to improvise hilarious scenes on the spot. You’ll learn and laugh in one educational and very funny hour!

Class is in session! Study Hall: Comedy Inspired By Lectures is now available to come to your school or organization! Study Hall has performed at the Franklin Institute, the Academy of Natural Sciences, Drexel University, Arizona State University, The Museum of the American Revolution, and has a yearly show at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Here’s a write-up on our show in 2020 from Perspectives On History.
